Bản Tuyên Bố

Thay mặt Hiệp Hội Đoàn Kết Công-Nông Việt Nam, đại diện tập thể Công nhân và Nông dân đang bị áp bức, chúng tôi long trọng tuyên bố:

1- Ủng hộ các nổ lực đấu tranh đòi nhân quyền, đòi quyền thành lập Nghiệp đoàn, Công đoàn độc lập không lệ thuộc sự kiểm soát của Đảng Cộng sản Việt nam. Đòi quyền đình công, bải thị đấu tranh vì quyền lợi công nhân không cần xin phép nhà nước Việt nam.

2- Ủng hộ các cuộc khiếu kiện, biểu tình chống bất công, tham nhũng, đòi nhà cửa, đất đai và tài sản nông dân đã bị quan chức đảng Cộng sản Việt nam chiếm đoạt. Ủng hộ các nổ lực đấu tranh cho quyền lợi thiết thực của nông dân Việt nam.

3- Kêu gọi các đảng phái, lực lượng, cá nhân đấu tranh cho quyền làm người tiếp tay với chúng tôi đấu tranh bảo vệ công nhân Việt Nam khỏi bị tình trạng bóc lột sức lạo động với đồng lương rẻ mạt và làm việc trong điều kiện nguy hiểm, tệ hại.

4- Kêu gọi các đảng phái, lực lượng cá nhân đấu tranh cho quyền làm người lên án các hành động của quan chức đảng Cộng sản Việt nam đã áp bức, tham nhũng cướp đất đai, tài sản của nông dân chúng tôi.

5- Việt Nam vẫn còn vi phạm nhân quyền trầm trọng. Các quyền căn bản của con người như quyền lập đảng, quyền tự do tư tưởng, quyền lập và tham gia công đoàn độc lập v.v..vẫn không được nhà nước Việt Nam tôn trọng. Chúng tôi, Hiệp Hội Đoàn Kết Công-Nông Việt Nam kêu gọi các vị nguyên thủ quốc gia, nhân dân quốc tế yêu chuộng tự do, dân chủ và nhân quyền, nhân dân Việt nam trong và ngoài nước yễm trợ chúng tôi trong cuộc đấu tranh đòi quyền làm người tại Việt Nam.

United Workers-Farmers Organization of Viet Nam

Official Announcement

The United Workers-Farmers Organization of Viet Nam (UWFOVN), the independent association representatives of workers and farmers who are currently being oppressed and mistreated by the State of Vietnam, solemnly announces:

1- That we strongly support any movement calling for the respect of human rights, the right to form an independent trade and labor unions without any involvement and/or monitoring mechanism by the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV). We call for the right to strike and demand for workers' rights without a need to obtain the so-called "granted-permission-or-approval" from the Vietnam's government.

2- That we strongly support any farmers, individuals and/or groups in any land petitions and workers demonstrations towards the fight for justice for individuals, against government corruption, land, property and home repossession which were confiscated unlawfully by Vietnamese government officials. We strongly support any campaign and movement for the legitimacy of farmers’ rights.

3- A call to any political parties, independent people’s forces, and individuals fighting for human rights to join us in our fight for the protection of Vietnamese workers’ rights against the exploitation of cheap labor and the dangerous working conditions of the workers.

4- A call to any political parties, independent people’s forces, and individuals fighting for human rights to seriously denounce all illegal acts of the CPV Government as they continue to harass and illegally confiscate land and properties from farmers.

5- That the Vietnamese government is, today, still in violation of human rights. All of the people’s basic rights including the rights to association; to freedom of _expression; to the formation and participation in trade and labor unions, independent of government interference; etc. are not accepted nor respected by the Vietnamese government. Thus we, the United Workers Farmers Organization of Viet Nam, are calling on all international heads-of-state and the international community who hold dear the values of Liberty, Democracy and Respect for Human Rights, to state their support for the cause of workers-farmers-rights and we ask that they seriously support the Vietnamese peoples at home and abroad in the fight for a people’s unalienable rights in Viet Nam.
